San Pietro Castle

Follow the exciting guided tour and live all the magic of the past throught the 30 furnished rooms. The Castle appears austere and compact from the outside, but once inside you will meet a delicate design which makes it graceful and elegant. As documented by a stone epigraph, the Castle was built in 1460 by Bartolomeo Barattieri, a noble jurist and ambassador of Piacenza at the court of Pope Julius II della Rovere. The Castle has very interesting defensive architectural elements for the use of the firsts firearms. A large leafy garden gives the building a breath of fresh air.
